I later moved to work with a technology solution provider for the travel industry that was a NASDAQ quoted Technology Company, Pegasus Solutions in 2000 within corporate treasury. (I was responsible for cash flow reporting and implementation of software and e-banking policies and structures to improve working capital). I was then head hunted to high end luxury retail as Treasury Manager for Polo Ralph Lauren Group, UK and later became Group Treasury Manager for Polo Ralph Lauren, Europe and was very instrumental to first putting in place a Shared Services Centre in Geneva, Switzerland for the Group.

I was also part of a team that introduced structured foreign exchange hedging for all the Europe entities at a time where regulatory framework was fast changing: such frameworks included Sarbanes-Oxley and FAS 133. I also mentored and built teams in finance and instituted best practices within the corporate treasury department.

Later that year, I went into oil services as a senior consultant and then worked as the working capital expert in Stolt Offshore which later became Acergy Group. After this, I was head-hunted into banking as a technical and regulatory expert where I was involved in the IFRS implementation in Barclays Bank Group and the Royal Bank of Scotland Group respectively.

I also project managed and lead a large portfolio of projects which ranged from capital adequacy, to regulatory frameworks and in these roles I was influential in building teams and utilising technology to bring across change in projects worth millions of dollars across several divisions of the Group which included banking, insurance, reinsurance, bank assurance, investment and retail banking. In this strategic group, I supported the group executive team to effect and make changes that boarded across the reforms due to the rapidly evolving regulatory framework that followed in Europe in the 2000s. In 2009, I decided to pursue a full time entrepreneurial career.
